It was so neat to have a real white Christmas this year. I looked at it as a gift from God for sending us to Tulsa. Ü The Tulsa area got 4-8" of
SNOW on Christmas Eve night!!! On our drive to church it was kind of slushy, but by the time we left it was
SNOWING lots of
BIG flakes! On our drive home, which includes three different freeways, we averaged about 25 mph and even came to a stop at one point due to one or more cars being stuck in the snow.

i love this pic...maybe because it's one of the rare times she's wearing a cute hat

had to make a stop at Wal-mart on the way home Christmas Eve

My girl does NOT like to wear hats or anything in her hair or even have her picture taken sometimes ): i bought this little dress at Affair of the Heart and had the pom poms and monogram added, which made it that much cuter!
Christmas morning was a lot of fun! The first thing Reese saw and was excited about was her new pink chair from Munners and Grandaddy. She loves it. After that, the things she was most interested in were a Santa
PEZ dispenser and some new
PINK sunglasses. There were lots of toys. Too many in fact. I think she was a little overwhelmed by it all. But she had a lot of fun. That night we went to see the
Chipmunks Squeakquel. It was really cute and Reese had fun and loved getting to eat "pop pop" and go to a big "moonie".

The next day we played in the snow and made a snowman. Reese's favorite part seemed to be throwing snow at Andi...although most of it was sticking to her little gloves. Note to self: find waterproof gloves that actually stay on little hands.

We left for Texas on the 28th, went to three different cities, visited with five different groups of family, returned six days later and considering all that was going on, Reese was
really good. She was completely on Holiday Time - late naps, really late bedtimes, etc. But she has gotten back into her routine pretty seamlessly. She had some separation anxiety yesterday at school and today at MOPS. Thankfully, neither
meltdown lasted more than a minute after Mommy left.

Reese LOVES to "towler" (color) and talked cousin Matt into towlering too

Munners & Grandaddy went all the way to Fredericksburg to choose a very special Baby Huggums for Reese. She loves her "beebee"!

Reese telling Papa George a good story I'm sure
We will definitely have some sweet memories from the Christmas our baby girl was
almost two!
