Monday, while eating lunch together
R: Mommy, you're my friend.
M: Aww, thank you, baby. You're my friend too!
R: I like you, Mommy.
M: I like you too, my sweet girl!
(BIG squeeze)

This morning, while sharing a bagel
R: Know what?
M: What?
R: (reaches up) HUG! (wraps her arms around me)
M: Thank you, baby. You're so sweet! (melt "how did she know i needed that?")
